Biography

"There are two ways of being creative. One can sing and dance. Or one can create an environment in which singers and dancers flourish."

Warren G. Bennis

Greetings, this is Margaret Saizan from Baton Rouge, Louisiana. When people ask me about my vocation, I like to say I inspire for a living. As a new media publisher, personal/organizational coach, and community activist, my work is focused on empowering leadership and facilitating action during transition, crisis, indeed disaster as the pathway to new vision.

As a graduate of Newfield Network, a global progressive force for positive and sustainable change, and one of the oldest, best regarded international coach training schools, my coaching is rooted in a deeply-grounded body of knowledge, integrating many related disciplines of Newfield's Ontological School of Coaching.

My latest venture, Big Vision Media, is an online publisher of “transformational media” such us Hurricane Katrina: The Voice of Recovery, The New Gulf Coast, The Voice for a New Vision, and Big Vision Media: Changing the World in Real Time.

As an activist, my work is focused on the use of the labyrinth as a tool for community healing, recovery and renewal. Towards that end, I hold leadership positions in several labyrinth initiatives that are making a global impact - Veriditas: The Voice of the Labyrinth Movement, The Labyrinth Society, and the Baton Rouge Labyrinth Project.

My passionate dedication to large scale healing and change merges over thirty years experience as an entrepreneur with a life-long committment to personal and spiritual growth. At the heart of my work is the desire to create environments where vision can flourish, especially in times of crisis and complexity when it is most needed. If I had to identify a life purpose, I would say it is to inspire people.
