My Aunt Noreen and her daughter Jacqueline desperately want to go home to N.O. However their home is under six feet of water. Aunt Noreen is originally from Montpelier, Louisiana and so would like to find housing somewhere in the St. Helena Parish area until she can return to her home in N.O. - She is looking for 2 bedroom house, apt., etc. in the Montpelier, Greensburg, Amite, Hammond vicinities. ***Update: 11/1/05 RESOLVED!!! They found a house in Metairie and are very pleased to be back in their beloved New Orleans. However, the first day they moved in, Aunt Noreen opened a closet door to inspect it, and a huge slab of marble that was stored there fell down and hit her foot breaking it in two places. Still, she's home!
Looking to help. I am out of work, but God has been good to my family. Looking for a family I can offer some financial support to whatever I can. Its not much, but for another American!
