Can Donate New Childrens Shoes

My 5th grade class wanted to do something for the Katrina children for Christmas, so they have had fundraisers and a garage sale in order to purchase new toys for kids.  Red Cross and Salvation Army could not help and I am grateful to have found this site.  I have contacted two families in need (from this site) but we have enough to help with a couple of other families; we especially have more girl gifts right now.  Our school also received a large donation of new shoes.  If anyone needs new children's shoes, we have up to sizes 12.  Please send your email address with your needs and let's see if we match up!    -  Lynne              lhiggins805@charter.net

Katrina Impacted Mother Needs Christmas Help

I am a single mother of three(3) sons, ages twelve(12), six (6), and three(3). I previously worked for a local casino that was destroyed by Hurricane Katrina. Even though the rebuilding efforts have begun, the bills don't stop. I recieve very little in unemployment, which I am greatful for, but Christmas this year is looking very bleek. I have already discussed this with my children but they don't seem to understand.  If there is anyone out there who can help make this a Merry Christmas for my family, it would be greatly appreciated. Little things make big impacts. With that said, anything would help.

our family desperatly needs an angel of encouragement we are a large family who lost everything to hurricane katrina. we did live in pascagoula,ms and now we are living in a shelterin mobile, al we lost our home, car jobs, clothew just everythinga family has aquired over 14 years.I have 2 children layton kaine 11 and hayden kross 6 i also raise my halfbrother cooper 12 and half sister dara 13 due to our mother illness i have raised them for 9 years she passed away on 8-18-05 just 11 days before the storm.i also take care of my72 year old grandmother who is disabled and suffers from dementia. I was a LPN but lost my job since the storm i dont have basic things like spoons and forks must less knowing how i amgoing to provide a christmas for my 4 children  please find it in your hearts to adopt our family. Mother Needs Help with Christmas

My name is Alichia, and I am a mother of two from Gulfport Mississippi and we are in desperate need of help from anyone out there that can help us. I have a 10 year old daughter  whom for the first time received A-B honor roll in all of her six years in  school year, and I would like to congradulate her with all that she deserves, but money is hard to come across now on the gulf coast. I also have a 8 year old son, that is also on A-B honor roll, and I just dont have the heart to wake up on christmas morning, and tell them that I could not afford to get them anything this year.
