Hey, this is a great site. Glad I stumbled across it. You might be interested in the work that we do at SkyTruth with satellite and aerial imagery, showing oil slicks after Hurricanes Katrina (http://blog.skytruth.org/2007/12/hurricane-katrina-gulf-of-mexico-oil.html) and Ike(http://blog.skytruth.org/2008/10/ap-hurricane-ike-environmental-toll.html). I hope this is helpful. - John

    Ms, Saizan
excellent coverage here. Best photographs so far. I hung you onto today's Ladder. You are out in the front 5, what I call media on the scene. Thank you.

Could you direct your formidable acumen onto another problem, the 17th Street Canal Breach "Repair" LEAK and take a camera:

here are copious directions to the leak from my own visit Memorial Day:

We would surely appreciate as many eyes on this as possible and yours are sharper than most.
For further info on it and perhaps a good guide to the site, please contact Sandy Rosenthal, Director of Levees.org.

I hung you onto our 2nd line as well. Before, we used slow dial-up and could not seem to even handle loading it in...but now, now we have DSL ULTRA and Mucho'Computer and can perhaps carry the weight. Lotta stuff on this site.

    Thanks again,
    Bruce
