Now here's an interesting one from columnist Mark McCormick of the Witchita Eagle. He writes, "Please stop comparing the Greensburg tornado with New Orleans and Hurricane Katrina. There's no comparison. Not in scope. Not in geography. Not in the weather events themselves.Still, in conversations and even in comments in The Eagle, people have drawn clumsy and illogical comparisons between the two disasters". Yep I've heard the talk too. There are some comparisons. McCormick explains the differences here.
