LIFE SURE HAS A WAY OF TURNING THINGS AROUND! I never thought that I would be on this end of things. I am recently seperated, recently evicted from apartment due to KATRINA, I have a 3 year old daughter that is staying with my parents, a six year old son that is staying with me whereever we can until his holiday break. I am one of the ones that have never qualified for any federal or governmental assistance, but all of our savings has been spent and will not be able to go back to work for another month or two. The personal items that we have are in storage and trying to make the storage payments. I know that I will be able to come out of this in time and like everyone else the healing and rebuiling will take years. I just do not have the means to make the holiday for my two little ones, they no that things are different, and that we are on an extended VACATION. Some vacation. I just hope that I will be able to give them HALF the Christmas they are used to experiencing. We have had fun going on line at Walmart.com and making a wish list, my 3 year olds do not understand that Santa can not bring everything,my 6 year old should not have to understand and grow up so fast. They know that it is only a dream but I am doing everything in my power to make it reality for them.
This weekend I am having a Garage Sale of the items from Storage in hopes that I will make enough for us to live on for the next couple of months and provide Christmas.
